Dr Dickinson has an exceptionally experienced team of support staff.

Our Clinical Manager has 11 years of experience in the dental industry both as a clinical assistant and administrator, and has completed a Certificate III in Dental Assisting from RMIT. Friendly and professional, our clinical manager is available to assist with scheduling a convenient appointment time, as well as answering any questions you may have.

Our Business Manager has a history of book keeping and owning and managing her own business.

Our Clinical Projects Manager and Clinical Dental Assistant, works alongside Dr Dickinson in the surgery, having completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting at Southbank Institute of TAFE. Patient care is her number one priority and with 15 years of experience, will be able to assist with any dental questions you may have.

Our Clinical Dental Assistant has completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting from RMIT and also works alongside Dr. Dickinson. She has worked in various private dental practices and has gained more than 9 years of experience in the Dental field, and will be able to assist you with any dental questions you may have.

Dr Anthony Dickinson is a practicing Prosthodontist from Melbourne where his clinical emphasis is interdisciplinary management and implant dentistry.

Anthony completed his BDSc (Melb) in 1978 and his postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics at Indiana University (USA) in 1985. Anthony is a member of the Board of Directors of ITI and has held positions on the Dental Practicing Board of Victoria and the former Dental Board of Victoria, including 6 years as President.

He draws on a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for relevant education to bring an entertaining and informative presentation with a strong practical application.

Jan is Dr. Pearsons clinical assistant. She has been in the dental industry for over 30 years.
Jan worked predominately in general practice whilst raising a family with her husband of 36 years, Barry.
Jan and Dr Pearson began working together approximately 4 years ago.
Jan is a fully qualified dental assistant with a Certificate III in Dental Assisting from the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
Dr. Pearson quite often refers to Jan as “Number 1 Nurse” or “Smiley”.
Friendly and caring, Jan will endeavour to assist you with any dental enquires you may have.

Dr. John Pearson grew up in Southern Queensland, was educated at Ipswich Grammar School and obtained his undergraduate degree (B.D.Sc.) at the University of Queensland. He immediately moved to Victoria where he was in general practice for 3 years before moving to London UK where he spent the next 6 years in General Practice.

During this time he not only traveled widely throughout Europe with his interest in Archeology and Anthropology, particularly of the European area. He returned to Australia for a further couple of years in General Practice in suburban Melbourne before entering University to study Prosthetic Dentistry, obtaining his post graduate qualification (M.D.Sc.) at the University of Melbourne. His interest in this branch of dentistry began in his undergraduate years and has been his lifetime interest, particularly his interest in removable prosthodontics or dentures.

He has spent a number of years teaching clinical prosthodontics at the undergraduate level and has lectured widely within Australia and overseas to his peers.

He is a member of the Australian Dental Association, having served on its executive. He is also a past president of the Australian Prosthodontics Society, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists, and a member of the International College of Prosthodontists.

Dr. Pearson is registered by the Dental Practice Board of Victoria as a specialist prosthodontist, and is currently in private practice, practicing all aspects of prosthetic dentistry.
